Where You’ll Fit In
Since we were founded more than 8 years ago, we’ve become known for building cool stuff. That expertise led us to create products like our Split Flap and Picture Flap displays, among other cool analog technologies.
This position is based in Philadelphia at Oat Foundry’s HQ. The key responsibilities of this role are to meet with inbound clients, assess their potential fit for purchasing a product, manage and maintain deals in our CRM, all with the goal of selling Oat Foundry products to businesses worldwide.

The Day-to-Day:
- Nurture clients at different stages in our various Sales pipelines
- Prepare custom pitch decks to show off our products
- Educate potential customers about our products – arm them with the information and
materials they need to make decisions - Assess new Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for budget and timeline as quickly as
possible - Answer sales questions about our product lines
- Create purchase orders
- Respond to customer inquiries and emails in a timely manner
- Send personal, thoughtful follow-ups to clients
- Give shop tours (usually 1-2 per month)
- Learn more about our clients (use case, market sector, budget, etc) and report back on
this information to the broader sales team

Job Description
This position is responsible for the assembly of Oat Foundry products, including but not limited to Split Flap and Picture Flap product lines. A Production Associate is part of an assembly team and will be required to work with others to meet production demands. The assembly team builds and prepares our products for our customers, ensuring utmost quality and timeliness. The position is a full-time salaried position paid semi-monthly, expected 40 hours per work week, Monday thru Friday.

Reports to the Production Manager at HQ – Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities include:
- Follow SOPs and WKIs regarding facility cleanliness & hygiene and assembly operation efficacy
- Ensure quality of all sub-assembly and final products
- Identify issues and alert supervisor or engineering staff
- Assembly of Oat Foundry product lines at various stages
- Assembly and testing of stepper motors and printed circuit boards with use of hand tools while maintaining standards of electrostatic discharge prevention
- Assembly of sheet metal panels with use of hand tools (rivet gun)
- Maintain cleanliness of assembly area and general facility
- Focus on activities that contribute to continuous improvement
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Experience with industry health and safety standards & hygiene best practices
- Experience following direction
- Experience working with a team to solve problems
- High standards for quality and exceptional attention to detail
- Hands-on assembly or fabrication experience
- Highly organized with a focus on cleanliness
- Use of tools (electric drill, pneumatic rivet gun, hand tools)
