Our innovative team builds our products in our design and manufacturing facility — all under one roof in Philadelphia. Since we were founded 11 years ago, we’ve become known for building cool stuff. That expertise led us to create products like our Split Flap and Picture Flap displays, among other cool analog technologies.
Where You’ll Fit In
This is a full time position based in Philadelphia at Oat Foundry’s HQ with occasional, but infrequent requirement to travel to client locations. The key responsibilities of this role are multimedia storytelling and production by assisting sales and marketing in generating creative assets, and assisting the R&D team with both UI/ UX development and in-situ digital staging and showcasing of new products, all in service of delivering Oat Foundry’s products to businesses worldwide. This role has a consistent workload.
We are looking for a patient, conscientious, consistent, and cooperative creative professional who is detail-oriented, while producing highly precise and beautiful work. The Multimedia Specialist will be working across several departments, so candidates need strong teamwork and collaboration skills. The job requires creating and handling creative assets with careful attention to the quality. The focus is on working comfortably under close supervision within a stable team. The pace of the job is steady, accomplishing both long-term and short-term projects simultaneously for different departments, working under your manager, the Creative Director. When there is change in the structure of work or scope of responsibility, ample time will be provided to learn the new work thoroughly with opportunity for repetitive practice. When the job requires work to be completed under time pressures or in changing situations, management will provide close support and encouragement.

The Day-To-Day:
Multimedia Storytelling & Production:

- Plan video assets including pre-production storytelling, story-boarding, and conceptualizing the story arc from
beginning to end. - Capture, edit, and produce various multimedia elements including photo, video, audio, images and text.
- Produce high-quality multimedia content to support the sales, marketing, operations, and R&D teams.

Creative Asset Generation:

- Use those assets to develop demo reels, marketing decks, email newsletters, price sheets, and other promotional
materials. - Create compelling stories on the Oat Foundry website; in advertisements on Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and
Youtube; and in product tutorial videos. - Assist with the creation of the Oat Foundry lookbook to showcase our brand and our products.

Digital Platform Management:

- Maintain, update and enhance our digital platforms with fresh multimedia content.
- Use tools like Canva, PDF, Youtube, Vimeo, and others to ensure seamless content delivery.
Ensure Design Consistency:

- Work closely with team members to ensure all designs align with Oat Foundry’s identity and messaging.
- Verify the accuracy of content and its presentation to maintain a consistent and professional appearance.
Assist in Special Projects Including:

- Assist the Portal team with page layouts and UI/UX.
- Assist R&D team with in-situ digital staging and showcasing of new products and/or new product renders.
You’ll Need:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Photography, or a related field.
- Proven skills in pre-production including storytelling / story-boarding / conceptualizing the story arc from beginning to end,
sourcing gear or additional third-party support, etc. - Proven skills in DSLR and/or mirrorless camera operation and video production, including shooting, lighting, and audio
recording. - Proven skills in photo and video editing and post-production, color correction, sound editing, and adding effects.
- Proficiency in multimedia software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro).
- Digital Marketing and Advertising skills with experience on Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Linkedin platforms
- Strong understanding of design principles and brand alignment.
