About Colin

Colin grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, spending much of his time in nearby Baltimore, D.C., and Annapolis, where his appreciation for well-crafted design first took shape. After studying liberal arts at St. John’s College, he went on to earn a degree in Industrial Design from Philadelphia University, blending philosophy with function in his approach to engineering. Before joining Oat Foundry, Colin worked as a design consultant and engineer, where he refined his eye for thoughtful, tactile products — a passion that ultimately led him toward a company focused on analog experiences in a digital world.

At Oat Foundry, Colin reviews production schedules, coordinates client artwork and customizations, and ensures projects move smoothly from order to installation. Outside of work, you’ll find him bouldering, playing board games, or teaching himself Python and C++. He’s currently working on a side project to rethink GPS wayfinding through a more human, intuitive lens. What sets Colin apart at Oat Foundry is his curiosity and drive to make things better; he thrives on collaboration, finding new ways to streamline production and improve how Oat Foundry brings its analog products to life.
