The Block is a brand new living space in Southern Northern Liberties (SoNo), Philadelphia. The complex boasts modernity through 9 live-work units, 40 residences, and a private roof deck with firepits and a killer view of the city skyline. The Block is in an up-and-coming neighborhood east of Center City – joining businesses such as Yards Brewing, Target, and a string of other go-to spots along Spring Garden Street.
The interior of the building has a minimalist feel – concrete structure, white walls, modern accents, and fixtures throughout. The common area has a cozy fireplace and entertainment room to have a little get-together. The branding at The Block is bright and lively through greens, blues, pinks, purples, and orange colors that line the exterior. Their design team looked for ways to bring this uniqueness indoors and found Picture Flap. Their Picture Flap has the brightest graphics we have worked with and it blends into their space seamlessly. It sits right at the top of the entryway stairwell and it is one of the first things residents and guests see when entering the building. The Block at SoNo is a modernized living space for those looking for great facilities, location, and high-quality living.
